Meeting intelligence, with evidence

How MeetMeaning Turns Transcripts into Usable Understanding

➤ Most meeting tools capture what was said. MeetMeaning examines what the conversation established, what changed, what remains uncertain and what needs to happen next.

MeetMeaning is an intelligence layer for people who need more than a transcript to wade through, a list of loosely extracted action items, or a visually impressive yet generic flattened summary.

It examines the actual language of a conversation and connects findings back to the evidence that produced them — including decisions, commitments, unresolved questions, contradictions, dependencies, ownership, risks and changing positions.

➤ The result is not merely a cleaner record of a meeting. It is a more inspectable working record of the conversation.

Why use MeetMeaning?

Keep the important distinctions visible

➤ Meetings are where important work moves forward — and where important meaning is often lost.

Buried decisionA clear directive can disappear beneath discussion.

Assumed ownershipA task may sound assigned without being explicitly accepted.

Softened dateA deadline may be mentioned, then quietly weakened.

Unresolved concernAn issue was raised, acknowledged, yet still remains open.

➤ Traditional meeting notes often flatten these distinctions. MeetMeaning keeps them visible, helping teams answer practical questions such as:

  • What was actually decided?
  • What remains open?
  • Who owns the next move?
  • What evidence supports that conclusion?
  • Did the meeting resolve the original issue, or simply move it elsewhere?
  • Where did people agree, disagree, defer or change position?
  • What has changed since the previous meeting?
  • What should be checked before the next meeting begins?

➤ MeetMeaning makes conversations easier to revisit, easier to audit, and harder to misunderstand.

More than an AI summary

Preserve the difference between evidence and AI interpretation

➤ A conventional AI summary can be useful, but it is a compressed interpretation of a conversation. It can read confidently even where the meeting itself was unclear. MeetMeaning’s bounded AI Summary preserves the distinction between:

  • A confirmed decision vs a suggestion
  • An assigned taskvs an assumed responsibility
  • A stated deadlinevs an informal aspiration
  • A resolved issuevs a deferred issue
  • Agreement in principlevs agreement on implementation
  • Conversation evidencevs interpretation layered onto it

Built to fit your existing stack

Work alongside your meeting recording tools

MeetMeaning is not trying to replace the tools you already use to record, transcribe, schedule or summarise meetings. Your existing platform provides the recording, transcript output, speaker labels and calendar context; MeetMeaning analyses the internal structure of the conversation.

It is a second layer after recorders, transcription services, note-taking systems, project platforms, customer-call systems or internal documentation tools.

  1. Your existing toolrecords or transcribes the meeting.
  2. You bring the transcriptor notes into MeetMeaning.
  3. MeetMeaning identifiesthe important states within the conversation.
  4. You inspect or downloadthe findings and their evidence.
  5. Your team carries forwarda clear operational record into the next meeting, update or decision process.

A more faithful working record

Not all meeting statements are equal

A meeting contains ideas, questions, objections, tentative suggestions, instructions, commitments, assumptions, confirmations and conversational noise. MeetMeaning is designed to distinguish between them. Small distinctions in language can be enormous in operation.

“Perhaps we should do this” is clearly not the same as “we have agreed to do this.”

“Someone should own that” is not the same as a named person actually accepting ownership.

A date mentioned in passing is not necessarily a committed deadline.

Explore the work in depth

Use the right view for the question at hand

MeetMeaning’s product method is broader than a single summary. Explore the focused guides for meeting transcript analysis, comparing two meeting transcripts and verifying decisions and unresolved items.

What this looks like in practice

It preserves uncertainty

Where a decision is incomplete, ownership is unclear, language is conditional or evidence conflicts, the uncertainty can remain visible rather than being converted into false certainty.

This helps teams act on reality rather than a polished but unreliable reconstruction of it.

It connects findings to the source

Evidence-linked analysis lets important conclusions be checked against the relevant parts of the conversation.

That makes the system useful for operational handover, sensitive meetings, project governance, client work, product decisions and any setting where people may later ask: “Where did that come from?”

It connects meetings over time

MeetMeaning can compare discussions across time, showing whether earlier actions were completed, decisions changed, risks were resolved or the group drifted into repeated ambiguity.

This is useful for recurring project meetings, product reviews, client calls, leadership sessions, incident reviews, governance meetings and creative development work.

It works beyond formal meetings

Any conversation containing decisions, commitments, uncertainty or changing direction can benefit from being made more inspectable.

  • Project and delivery meetings
  • Leadership discussions
  • Client calls and account reviews
  • Sales discovery conversations
  • Product planning sessions
  • Research interviews and workshops
  • Board, governance and policy discussions
  • Incident reviews and internal handovers

It makes the next meeting stronger

Instead of reconstructing the previous meeting, teams can begin from what was decided, what still needs a decision, what is blocked, what needs confirmation, what was assigned, what changed and what evidence supports the record.

This turns the meeting record from a passive archive into an active working surface.

The aim is not to create an artificial authority. It is to give everyone a more faithful perspective and rapid view of what was actually established.
