1. Data Processing

Maenen Labs' goal and core philosophy is to only collect the absolute minimum data to operate and improve the Service.

It is the Founder's intention to never view or retain a user's private data, and lengths have been taken throughout all the Maenen architectures to assure this.

Analyse and Compare are Maenen's deterministic processing capabilities. AI Summary is a separate, optional generative feature. If you choose to use AI Summary, and when the feature is available, the evidence-linked analysis packet and relevant source text required to generate that Summary are transmitted to the configured third-party AI provider. The currently intended provider is Google Gemini; this does not mean that AI Summary is enabled in production. The generated Summary is interpretive and does not replace the deterministic analysis or underlying evidence. Other MeetMeaning operations do not send submitted content to an external AI provider. Outside this deliberately requested AI Summary exception, submitted content is processed transiently for the requested operation and is not intended to be retained by Maenen as a saved meeting record. You must opt to download the results if you wish to retain them.

This following Privacy Policy further explains how Maenen Labs Ltd handles information submitted through this website and the the internal propriety APIs tools being called during its release.

2. Data You Submit

When you use the Service, you may submit:

• text or structured payloads.

• Submitted payloads are only processed to generate output artifacts and receipts.
• You remain the controller of your data.

During beta:

• Payloads may be processed transiently.
• Limited operational, usage and receipt metadata may be retained for:
• operational monitoring.

• debugging and improvement.

Maenen Labs has no intentions to sell, or commercially exploit submitted data. We offer the Service for your evaluation and future prosperity, yet we must note any abuses.

4. Logs & Metadata

For the development of the Service we may collect limited metadata, such as:

• request timestamps.
• payload size metrics.
• receipt fields.
• error information.

• ensure stability and integrity.
• improve measurement fidelity.

5. Cookies & Tracking

The APIs do not use cookies.
The website may use minimal technical cookies required for basic operation. No advertising or tracking cookies are employed.

6. Data Sharing

Maenen Labs Ltd. does not share submitted payloads with a third-party AI provider as part of Analyse or Compare. If you choose to use AI Summary, and when the feature is available, the external-provider processing described above applies specifically to that intentionally requested feature. Submitted content may also be disclosed if required by law. Maenen Labs Ltd. does not sell or commercially exploit submitted content.

7. Security

Reasonable technical and organisational measures are used to protect the Service. However, no system can be guaranteed fully secure. Do not submit data that would cause harm if exposed.

8. Your Responsibilities

The Maenen APIs under the domain "CompareThisThat" (“the Service”) are currently provided as public beta releases. This means:

These APIs expose proprietary mechanisms and behaviours that are the property of Maenen Labs Ltd. Use of these tools is governed by the Terms of Service. Reverse engineering, systematic probing, and derivative construction of competing services are prohibited and may result in key revocation and legal action.

➤ Receipt Usage & Interpretation

Receipts provide a contract of work performed, not internal algorithm disclosures. Receipts are signed and versioned artifacts; clients should treat them as authoritative and should not attempt to infer internal semantic metrics beyond the documented state bands.

➤ Abuse Detection & Protection

Requests may be monitored for patterns resembling exhaustive inputs or probing behaviour. Keys exhibiting such patterns may be throttled or revoked without any further notice being given, to protect the integrity of the services.

• submit data for the designed purposes.
• receive artifact outputs and receipts.
• evaluate suitability for your systems and workflows.

• use the Service for unlawful purposes.
• attempt to reverse engineer internal mechanisms.
• interfere with or disrupt the Service.
• use the Service to process data you do not have the right to submit.

3. API Access & Keys

• Beyond the sample trial, API access is permission-gated during beta.
• API keys are issued on payment and remain the property of Maenen Labs Ltd.
• You are responsible for keeping your key secure.

Sharing or abusing API keys may result in their immediate revocation and suspension of any associated user account.

You retain responsibility for all data you submit to the Service.
